It’s early October now make the most of the last warm days to harvest garden fruits & vegetables & it’s time to tidy & maintain your garden plants.
Start now to:
- Divide your herbaceous perennials in your flower borders
- Cover garden ponds with nets to keep out the leaves ( We have great industrial leaf blowers & vacuum machinery for large leaf collection)
- Keep harvesting the tomato & grape crops from your garden glasshouse (yes unheated glasshouses in small Irish gardens will grow abundant tomato, Grape & other crops)
- Remove the greenhouse shading & tidy up the greenhouse to keep the pests at bay (we can clean your greenhouse glass to let in more light)
- Order & start bulb planting now (“A host of Golden Daffodils”)
- Tidy up the baskets & containers to keep them looking their best (We can fit irrigation systems to your display if watering is a chore for you)
- Start pruning the climbing/rambling roses now ( we know what to prune & what to leave alone)
- Hedge cutting season is here. ( have you seen our compact tractor hedge cutter?)
- Start planting shrubs for next year ( great stock available now from our Irish nursery suppliers)
- Look after the camellias and rhododendrons at this time of year to ensure that next year’s buds develop well (stitch in time & all that)
- Look after your lawns ( now it’s time for autumn feed to sow new lawns, rid old lawns of moss & thatch with a scarifier ( we can do small lawns to football field size)
- Weed control starts now for 2020 (Don’t leave it until it’s to late act now on those stubborn weeds to for a great garden next year, we are fully licenced & insured to carry out professional weed control)
